Unique Article Wizard Review – A True Insight
Unique Article Wizard (UAW) is another one of the big names in article submission services. In case you don’t know, article submission is an Internet marketing tool whereby website owners submit content articles to blogs and other websites as a means of generating the back links to their own site. Well-crafted articles with strategically placed key words and phrases can generate thousands of back links in a short period of time. And as every successful web entrepreneur knows, back links are essential to driving web traffic, which in turn, is essential to making money.
What makes UAW different?
I hate to say that when you see one article submission service you’ve seen them all, but except for a few proprietary differences between them, it’s really true. You’ll see all kinds of reviews for UAW and its competitors on the Internet, all claiming to give you the best results and making you the most money. But they can’t all be the best, can they?
UAW uses some of the standard practices in article submission to get your content on the net. First of all, the creators of the service have already lined up thousands of blogs and other websites ready and waiting to take your content. That means the minute you submit an article, it’s ready to go out for distribution according to the parameters you set up in the system. Because it’s completely automated, users don’t have to submit articles manually and then wait days or weeks to hear a response from the website owner. UAW makes all the submissions and tracks which blogs accept which articles. It also tracks the back links that are generated so that you can see how your articles are performing, and where they’re performing best.
UAW also uses the tried-and-true principle of drip feeding. Drip feeding submits your articles on a slow but consistent basis so as not to flood the Internet with your back links too quickly. By drip feeding, the system is able to get your links spread out across the Internet in a slow and gradual pace which fools Google into believing that it’s all happening naturally. Other article submission services that don’t use drip feeding tend to feed your content too quickly, which can result in you being blocked by Google as a spammer or your links being devalued.
Why should I use UAW instead of other services like SEO Link Vine or AMA?
UAW have been around the longest and UAW’s biggest selling point is the sheer number of blogs and websites they are connected to. For example, AMA claims just over 2,000 connections at last count, with the goal of making that number 10,000 to 15,000 in the next couple of months. UAW already has tens of thousands of website connections. In one category alone it boasts 1,200 quality, reputable sites ready and willing to take your articles. Article marketing thrives only if you have good places to publish your content – UAW seems to have a handle on that more than its competitors.
All that said UAW is a bit more expensive than some of the others in the industry. Obviously, they believe its well worth the cost for you invest, but you would probably do well to read as many reviews as you can and ask others in the industry for their opinion. You might even try your own raw tests and see how it goes before you jump in all the way.
One difference with UAW as well is that most of the sites in their system are not blogs but more article directories.
So Here’s the Test
We submitted 3 articles to UAW targeting one site in the online money making niche. To test the effectiveness of the service we did three different methods.
1) Ranking increase
2) Saturation and indexation level of the article
3) Backlinks showing in Yahoo Site Explorer
For each article we submitted it to a different category so we could get the full UAW experience. We set the drip feeding to 50 a day, so we were getting around 300 links per day one pointing to the homepage of the site and one pointing to a category level page. Both the targeted keywords were NOT ranking in the top 100 in a full web search on Google. These were terms which were not highly searched for but had about one million competing pages.
We let UAW distribute these articles for a full 2 months before evaluating the results that were achieved. Please note that no other links were built into these pages from us in that timeframe. So the results are below
1) We saw positive positional increase #the homepage moved into the top 30 for its targeted term and the inner page moved into the top 50.
2) We love to leave a small sentence of the article unspun so that we can check EXACTLY how many syndications Google has indexed. Seen as though UAW published all 3 articles around 2100 times, there were around 1000 (968 versions to be precise) indexed in Google, when we did a search with “”
3) The Yahoo explorer backlinks on the other hand were not performing that well, Yahoo had only picked up 30 links on last check. Whether this is Yahoo just being slow we do not know. We will keep this updated
Downside of the Service
There are two main downsides to the service. Now firstly we class ourselves as pretty wise when it comes to spinning, but UAW’s dashboard is so confusing and there are about 4 different ways to submit your articles into the system. A newbie would surely struggle with the steep learning curve.
Secondly one main difference that UAW has over its competitors is that all articles are manually reviewed before being published. Now don’t get me wrong this is a good thing, but sometimes (especially if you are submitting a lot of articles) the reviewer rejects the article when everything is perfect and you spend hours trying to look for the problem, cannot locate one so resubmit the article only for it to get accepted. Yes I know very annoying!!
Do you Recommend UAW?
In a simple answer.. YES.. The price is good at only $67 per month and with that you get good solid distribution numbers and a proven increase in rankings. The articles are also manually reviewed so you can rest assured that no spam gets through.
Ranking: Overall we give UAW a 9/10
