SEO Link Monster Review – Does it Work? Real Honest Review

Posted on Jan 17,2012

SEO Link Monster is the new kid on the block when it comes to blog networks. It’s so new that hasn’t even been launched yet. However, it is coming February 7 (2012) and is being brought to you by brothers Brad and Matt Callen. You may be familiar with two of their other well-known products: SEO Link Vine and My Article Network

This review won’t be as long and detailed as some others because SEO Link Monster is not yet up and running full force. But by reading some of the things written by the Callen brothers in the past weeks we can give you a general idea of what to expect. Of course, all of this is subject to change when the service goes online.

The brothers Callen promise a new service offering an automated Google ranking system, a link building network that is allegedly “unlike any other”, a professional support staff, and personalised SEO training for those in need. All of this will be available for an initial first-month fee of $47; after that the fee goes up to $147 per month.

Another Blog Network

Although details remain sketchy it appears that SEO Link Monster will be another blog network with a twist. What’s the twist? Ownership. Virtually all of the blog networks these days are owned by the users rather than a central ownership. In other words, when you sign on with a blog network you submit your domains to be shared among all the other users. Together you help one another to build the network and ostensibly the content along with it. However, the very nature of such a network is not sustainable over the long haul.

This principle has been clearly demonstrated by the Callen brother’s previous blog network, SEO LinkVine. That network, like so many others, started out exceptionally strong but then collapsed under its own weight when the number of users reached critical mass. The Callen brothers plan to avoid the same fate with their new venture by owning the entire network themselves. Users who sign up with this service will not be able to submit their own domains to grow the network.

This model allows the Callen brothers to tightly control the content and where it goes. Hopefully this also means they won’t allow watered-down content to destroy the value of the network. But of course, that remains to be seen should we decide to take a look a year from now. If they hold true to that model, this could end up being a very profitable link building tool for everyone involved.

Ease of Use

One of the things SEO Link Monster allegedly has going for it is its ease of use. The system is almost entirely automated, including level-1 and flat spinning tools. You simply create your articles, and submit them by pasting them into your control panel. From there the automated system takes care of the rest. You’re provided with a set of tools to help you track your rankings and measure your results. For newbies it doesn’t appear that it could be any simpler.

As previously mentioned, along with the article submission service users also get a free SEO training course (though we don’t know what that will entail), an article pack, and some free software available only to SEO Link Monster users. I’m not sure all of these benefits are worth the money for this service but we’ll have to wait and see when it comes out.

Case Studies

We have not done any testing ourselves due to the fact that SCO Link monster is not yet live. We contacted some of the other reviewers we know and one of them did an early test with mixed results. This reviewer submitted 40 articles over the course of two weeks and checked his results at the end of each week. After the first week his page rankings and total number of submissions were not all that impressive. Certainly not worth the $147 per month if things do not change once the system goes live. By the end of the second week his sites had slightly better page ranking but still a very poor submission rate.

It is quite possible that the poor performance of SEO Link Monster in this test is a solely the result of the fact that it’s not yet up and running. But if the Callen brothers own all of the blogs on the network, and all those blogs are currently making them money, it would stand to reason that even a beta test of this program should return promising results. The fact that it didn’t leads one to wonder how well the service will perform in the real world.

A Cautious Conclusion

In conclusion, this review was to give you some general information in anticipation of the release of the service. Don’t base your decisions on whether or not try it solely on what we’ve written here. If you are the courageous type you might want to sign up as soon as it’s available in early February 2012. Otherwise you might want to wait until it’s been a month or so and read what some of the other reviewers are saying about it. Best of luck to you.

SEOLinkVine Review – Cutting Through the Hype

Posted on Feb 08,2011

SEO Link Vine is an article marketing software package brought to you by Brad Callen, the same well-known Internet marketer responsible for other popular pieces of software like Keyword Elite and PPC Web Spy. SEO Link Vine takes the concept of automated article marketing and adds several powerful features that allegedly give users a competitive advantage in the article submission wars. There are tons of positive reviews of this software on the internet, don’t but does it truly live up to the hype?

What sets SEO Link Apart from other Article Marketing Systems?

The major difference between SEO Link Vine and its competitors is the ability for users to control the speed at which their back links are generated. This is a process called drip feeding. The software uses drip feeding in order to prevent back links from being generated too quickly, as this causes a red flag for search engines which could result in the submitter being banned as a spammer. With SEO Link Vine individual users can determine how many back links they want generated on a daily basis.

For SEO newbie’s, the software contains nearly 100 training resources, including videos, to help them understand the art of search engine optimisation (SEO). Each user can train at their own pace and learn the system as quickly as they’re able to comprehend. The extensive training SEO Link Vine offers is one of the aspects that allow it to lay claim as a better alternative than its competitors.

The SEO Link Vine Autopilot

The software offers a unique feature referred to as the Autopilot. With the Autopilot, users can simply submit one article with three relevant back links, set the parameters for how quickly they want links generated, and then let system go to work. If your content is suitable for spinning, the software will do it automatically and as frequently as you request. A well-written article with high spin potential could theoretically be rewritten on a daily basis and resubmitted again and again. This method of building back links means you go from having none to having thousands in a relatively short amount of time.

Be Careful of Statistics Claimed by Reviewers

It doesn’t matter what SEO marketing company you want to talk about, or what new system or piece of software is being reviewed, statistics are incredibly misleading because they’re very hard to verify. Reviewers can make up numbers, write user testimonials, and even create screen shots that show unbelievably successful results. That’s not to say that reviewers of SEO Link Vine have used these practices, but simply to say that a little suspicion is a good thing.

The only real way to know whether SEO Link Vine is worth your time and money is to join as a free member and then contact the other members who place their content on your site. Ask their opinion of the program. An honest assessment from them will go a long way in helping you decide whether SEO Link Vine is right for you. That being said, Mr. Callen is realizing a great deal of personal success with this software, so it’s obviously doing something for someone.

The Cost

Brad Callen is now selling his software, along with what he terms an “Elite Membership”, for US $67.00. With the Elite Membership there is no longer any need to buy additional credits, although for the purposes of this review we couldn’t find any detailed information about SEO Link Vine’s credit buying terms. For a short time, a limited number of free lifetime memberships were being given away, but that seems to have ended for now. If it helps ease the mind of potential new buyers, the software does come with a 56-day money back guarantee.

So let’s get down to the nitty and gritty to see if this system is really what it’s cracked up to be

Articles on Demand Feature

One unique feature that SEOlinkvine has in its arsenal is the Articles on Demand feature. Basically there is a market place on the site where webmasters post the content that they need for their site. So in turn its more like guest blogging. So we gave this part of the system a whirl and come to this conclusion.

- We took hours writing 3 unique articles on the topics that the webmaster specified
- We then went to publish on these sites for the sites to be no longer available in the system
- If the sites WERE available this identical site was also available in the main blog network, so why the need to write a unique article? When your spun articles would go to that anway

If done correctly this could have been a very powerful feature of SEOLV, as this is where you could have went to get the higher quality links.

We tried SEO Link Vine for ourselves.

We thought we would give SEO Link Vine a try with a couple of articles we wrote specifically for a fairly competitive keyword for a site we have in the home improvement niche. The idea was to see just how long (if at all) it would take us to rank this keyword using just these articles in SEO Link Vine.

About four weeks after our initial submission, we still found no discernable change in our rankings in Google. We waited another month, but the site had only risen two places for that keyword (going from position 16 on page two, to position fourteen.

We decided to investigate further and to our surprise, the articles we submitted had only been published on ten websites/blogs! Another month down the line and the submission had stretched to eighteen sites and blogs, while our site had risen another spot in the rankings.

Our conclusions from this test are the following: the publishing rates of SEO Link Vine are so slow that it would take at least six months just to get an article submitted to about 30-40 sites. When you compare this to other services, this is very bad. Because of this, therefore, we were unable to rank our site for the keyword we wanted during the test period.

Final Thoughts

SEOlinkvine claim to have one of the largest networks around, but the article statistics as above really do not reflect that, BUT SEOLV is another source to get them backlinks that you really need. If you do have the budget we would recommend joining this network simply because you are tapping into another blog network so you get even more IP diversity.

Is it worth $67? Well that all depends on your personal circumstances.

Ranking: Overall we give SEOLV a 4.5/10
